NCIS: Help for the Future
Gibbs sat down staring daggers at the young agent he had taken a liking to. As he sipped his coffee he thought back. A week ago... "My teams full Leon." Leroy Jethro Gibbs said dropping a thick folder on the directors desk. "It's not up for discussion Gibbs, this kid is golden and the SECNAV wants him on the best team and that team happens to be yours." "If he's so 'Golden' Leon how come I've never heard of him?" Gibbs asked. Director Vance closed his laptop and rubbed his eyes. "I know what you mean Gibbs, but I looked him up he's clean." Leon said. Gibbs walked out of Vance's office and saw his teams newest member standing straight, arms behind his back beside the door. "Sir, it's an honor to meet you." he said. "Don't sir me Agent Saunders." Gibbs said. "Oh yes...sorry Agent Gibbs it's just that my father always told me to show respect to...erm my superiors." "Oh ok, well come on." Gibbs said motioning Saunders to follow. Gibbs and Saunders descended the stairs to where the team was working. "Who is that guy following Gibbs?" Tony whispered. "That's probably the new guy Vance is putting onthe team." Mcgee said. "What new guy, there's a new guy?" Tony asked. "Where have you been Tony, he's what we've been talking about for ten minutes!" Ziva said. "I don't like this, new guys always mean trouble! One minute they're all nice and then they're framing you for murder!" Tony said. "Listen up!" Gibbs said walking in. "This is Kent Saunders, he's gonna be hanging with us for a while." "Nice to meet you guys, it's an honor being here." Saunders said. As Gibbs sat down his phone rang drawing his attention away from the team. "Nice to meet you Kent." Ziva said holding out her hand. "Shalom Agent David." Kent said. "Why all the smiles Saunders?" Tony asked. "Oh it's just surreal, I'm sitting with the best team in NCIS history, I feel like Agent from Hellboy!" "Great movie!" Tony said. "Awesome movie!" Kent said. "Great another one!" McGee said shaking his head. "We got a dead Naval Commander." Gibbs said hanging up his phone. "Grab your gear." he added. "Probie you ride with me!" Tony said tapping Kent's sholder. |
